WORKSHOP: BUSINESS PLANNING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
In Business Planning for Small Businesses participants will be guided through 6 sessions to help them write a credible business plan. Each session will be 2 hours long. In the first part of each session , participants will present the relevant portion of their business plan and receive feedback from other participants and the instructor. Participants not only gain insights from multiple perspectives but learn from the questions and challenges of their peers. In the second portion of each session, the instructor will present the next topic and prepare the participants to write this section of their business plan.
Registration is $250.00 and must be paid in advance to confirm your participation.
Prepare your company description. In this section you will want to articulate the basic facts about your organization including, but not limited to
- Company structure (LLC, Sole Proprietorship, etc
- Ownership/management team
- Company history
- Products and services
It should be brief and direct but clearly summarize your business. You want to include information that demonstrates your passion and skills but only as they are relevant to the business. However, this is also the part where you theoretically hook the reader’s interest.
